British Seagull® Outboard QB Series Cylinder Head Gasket sits between the cylinder and the cylinder head to seal the cylinder to ensure maximum compression and prevent coolant leakage.
The British Seagull Cylinder Head Gasket is a multi-layer copper gasket designed to compress to the correct torque for the British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Bolt. If the cylinder head is removed, a new cylinder head gasket must be installed.
The British Seagull Outboard QB Series engines had three head gasket designs, one design for engines Pre-1989, one design for engines Post-1989, and a specific gasket for the Curlew engine.
