The British Seagull® Villiers carburettor taper needle adjuster that sits within the top of the carburettor throttle valve piston and adjusts the fuel and air mixture.
The taper needle adjuster has a plastic anti-rattle rod mid way down that will hold the adjuster in a set place for the correct running of the engine. Once this has been removed a new one should be fitted to provide adequate friction to prevent unwanted movement when set.

This British Seagull part is suitable for engines fitted with the Villiers carburettor only.
The British Seagull Villiers Throttle Valve and Conversion Needle are for illustration only and do not come with the Taper Needle Adjuster, these are avaliable separately from Sheridan Marine.
