A mains adaptor for connecting 24 volt Dometic cooling appliances to UK mains power (three-pin plug) with a 'mains priority' circuit that intelligently switches from 12/24v power to mains power when available.
This Dometic power adaptor allows you to have your fridge connected to the onboard 12/24 volt system and a mains system. When the mains system is identified, the power rectifier can operate coolers and refrigerators with BD35F compressors at 110-240 volts. The intelligent chip inside understands when mains power is available and when it is not. When no mains input is recognised, the power adaptor will revert to the 12/24 volt power input to run the fridge or cooler.
The Dometic MPS35 can be installed onto your Dometic cooler using the output wires which have spade connectors on. There is a 230-volt UK plug (UK three-pin plug) for the inlet mains power and two pre-stripped wires are available for connecting to the 12/24 volt input.
There is no need to manually switch between power inputs as the rectifier will analyse the available power and automatically select the mains power over the 12/24 volt input.
