Each of the paint thinners has different characteristics so it is important to use the correct thinner for the paint or varnish that is being used. This information can usually be found on the Hempel product label or a Hempel paint guide.

It is important you only use the Thinners recommended for each application. Not doing so, or substituting other proprietary products, will result in an unsatisfactory finish. Also, with two-pack products, only thin the mixed product.
