The Kontrol Moisture Trap is an efficient way of controlling excess moisture, condensation, mildew, and moisture stains and odours on your boat as it collects unwanted moisture from the air.
The moisture trap comprises three elements, the base 'water well', the top 'trap', and the dehumidifying crystals. The crystals are flakes of calcium chloride that lie in the top 'trap' section of the unit which attract unwanted excess moisture from the air. The crystals then dissolve, or 'drain' into the base 'water well' and the moisture is held here until removed and disposed of.
This moisture trap comes with two 500g packets of dehumidifying crystals ready for use and the trap can be reused again by using the Kontrol Moisture Trap Refill Crystals. The trap itself is slim so can be left in various locations including on your boat, in your caravan, on a window sill, or narrow surface. It helps protect woodwork, furniture, painted surfaces, fabric cushions, and wallpaper.
