This all-in-one Minn Kota Battery box power centre provides an easy-to-use solution for the safer use of electric trolling motors. The battery box contains the battery in the base, capturing any hydrogen or acid splash from the battery cells.
The battery box lid has two wires with ring eye terminals (red positive & black negative) on the inside that connect to the battery terminals, transferring the battery charge to the battery box lid, and to connected 12-volt appliances.
For any Minn Kota Electric Outboard you are able to attach the ring eye terminals to the thumbscrew terminals on the top of the box. This allows for fast and easy connection and removal. The lid also features two 12-volt plug sockets for 12-volt appliances. These sockets are protected by a 10amp circuit breaker. A 60amp circuit breaker provides protection for a Minn Kota outboard too. Each circuit breaker can be tested and reset too.
A built-in battery tester allows you to check the charge state of the battery on a clear, colour-coded LED status bar. The robust battery strap and strap hold-down tabs allow the box to be secured onto surfaces but also mean the box can be removed without removing the hold-down strap.
