A chrome plated boat flagstaff mount for securing a flagstaff to the pulpit or pushpit rail.
These boat pulpit rail flagstaff sockets are chrome plated and feature a locking thumb screw to secure the flagstaff steady when inserted - likewise, you are able to loosen to the thumb screw to remove the flagstaff easily without the need to remove the entire bracket each time.
The boat rail bracket fits any 19mm (3/4") or 25mm (1") tube so is perfect for mounting a flagstaff to your pulpit or pushpit rail.
To install the bracket there is an Allen key type fixing bolt insert in the middle that fixes the rail clamp to the bracket. When loosened the rail clamp section can be removed so that the bracket and the clamp can be placed into position on the rail. The idea is to tighten the fixing bolt to the required position in order to hold the flagstaff bracket fast. Then you are able to insert and remove the flagstaff when required.
