The Seaflo toilet replacement joker valve is found on most manual Seaflo toilet pump assemblies and prevents toilet waste backflow. This Seaflo Joker Valve is suitable for the Seaflo Compact Manual 'Twist n' Lock' Toilet and the Seaflo Regular Manual 'Twist n' Lock' Toilet fitted with the manual hand pump assembly.
If you are experiencing problems with your toilet joker valve, other than old age, then wear and tear is normally caused by the usage of non-marine toilet-safe chemicals such as bleach. These harsh chemicals cause the rubber to degrade over time. It is advised to use a safe toilet cleaner such as Jabsco Toilet Fresh Cleaner. It is also essential to use marine toilet paper as household toilet paper, such as multi-ply sheets, can cause blockages and thus weaken the joker valve.
The marine toilet one-way joker valve is located at the bottom of the Seaflo Manual Toilet Pump Assembly and sits within the Seaflo Manual Toilet Discharge Elbow.
Most manual boat toilets use a Joker Valve within the system and although they look very similar, each manufacturer of toilet, such as Seaflo and Jabsco, also manufactures their own specific parts and spares. Therefore it is NOT possible to use the Seaflo Joker valve in any Jabsco marine toilet systems as the sizes are different and you will find this leaking if used. If you have a Jabsco Manual toilet the the Jabsco Toilet Pump Joker Valve is most likely required.
