The Seastar Teleflex Steering Cable Guard is a seal and locking nut to protect the mechanical steering cable and outboard tilt tube from corrosion. The seal prevents water ingress into both the steering cable and the outboard tilt tube.
The kit can be fitted on new steering installations and existing steering cables, the seal fits over existing tilt tube lock nuts or can be fitted to the included lock nut.
