Stainless Steel Removable Swivel Locking Eyes

Polished stainless steel removable swivel locking eyes for fixing ties to removable locating eyes. The deck fitting stays in situ while the eye can be removed when desired.

These 'quick release' removable boat eye fittings have a locating spigot on the inside of the shaft so that the eye can locate and be locked into position, and held firmly when under tension. The eye can be released by swivelling the eye around in the shaft to find the position to remove.

When the eyes are removed it leaves a very lower height, 4mm, of the flat deck fitting section on the boat, leaving a smooth, unobstrusive finish.

The removable fixing eyes can be installed using the two counter sunk fixing holes and these fittings have proved useful for attaching boat fenders that need removing quickily and possible to different locations around the boat. They have also been useful for attaching a 'quick release' boat cover for example.
