TEMO 450 Electric Outboard

The TEMO 450 electric outboard is like no other outboard currently on the market, it is an all-in-one, waterproof (IP67), lithium battery-powered, handheld electric outboard. Essentially it is a telescopic pole with a propeller at one end and a motor, battery, and control handle at the other.

The design of the TEMO outboard ensures that it is compact and lightweight, weighing approximately 4.9kg, which is almost 10kg lighter than a traditional four-stroke petrol outboard engine.

The TEMO can be handheld, mounted to a dinghy rowlock, or mounted to a transom (transom mount sold separately. And with the integrated 450 Watt motor, producing 200 Watt of propulsive power (12kg static thrust), the equivalent to a 1.5Hp petrol engine.

The TEMO 450 Electric Outboard comes complete with all you need to operate and includes a dinghy rowlock mount for installation onto a normal dinghy rowlock (a TEMO 450 Electric Outboard Removable Bracket is available too). A 220 volt charge is also supplied so you can charge the TEMO 450, much like you would charge a Dyson Handheld vacuum cleaner. A magnetic safety lanyard is also supplied to ensure safe operation when on the water.
