The Whale Universal freshwater water pump is a pressure-controlled 12 volt fresh water pump providing 12L per minute of flow, with multiple diaphragms for self priming and efficient pump action which can also run dry without damage.
Deisgned with the Whale Quick Connect connection ports for easy 'slot-together' installation inline on your freshwater system. Complete with an easy to inspect clear lid water strainer that can be cleaned easily should a build up cause a blockage. This 12 volt water pump is ignition protected with sealed waterproof switches with extra protection and safety with wires and pressure switched housed internally.
The built-in pressure switch prevents the water pump from running if the pressure in the water system exceeds the cut of rating to help prevent damage to the pump and is thermally protected.
The Whale Universal Boat Water Pump provides a quiet and smooth water flow and the pump can self prime to 3m (10ft) vertical lift and the 15psi water system pump has an output of 12 litres per minute (3.2 gallons per minute) with a maximum current of 5 amp. This pump can also be used with salt water too.
Connection to the pump is easy with the supplied Whale Quick Connect fittings that slot into the ports and provide either 1/2" hosetail or 1/2" male thread connects, of course, if you already have the 15mm Whale Quick Connect system connectors then the pump can simply slot on to these connects.
