An inflated Anchor Marine boat ball fender with a re-enforced fixing hole and non-return valve for inflating and delflating. The rounded nature of this fender provides all round protection.
Hang using a fender rope from fender cleats or fender flutes for protection of your boats hull. Most customers use the fender balls where the hull rounds off, normally towards the bow (front) and sometimes on the stern depending on the style of boat hull you have. The round fenders are great at filling voids, usually found where hulls 'flare' under the deck for example.
These marine ball fenders are probably the most popular ball fender as they seem ideally suited to river cruisers and provide a good average size. We find that these fit the Freeman 22's and Freeman 23's very well in normal situations as other alternatives are either to large or slightly too small to have the right effect. Usually ball fenders are used where the hull flars and pared with straight fenders where the hull is flatter - but there are no rules so the captain is always right!
These boat fenders, or boat buoys, come blown up to a 'standard' pressure. The pressure can be adjusted to suit using a football valve adapter as found in the Fender Inflator Kit. If delivery restrictions such as size and shape of your parcel are restrictive we may ship these deflated.
