Battery Box Strap

The battery box strap is designed to secure battery boxes or other items in place on your boat. The strap features a plastic loop buckle to tighten the strap around your battery box and comes complete with fixing clamps for securing to your boat.

By installing the strap under the strap fixing clamps and placing a battery box (or equivalent item) on top, the strap can be fastened, and tightened, to hold and secure your battery boxes.

Boat battery box straps are a common safety device which many waterways safety schemes, such as the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), enforce. It is important to discuss specifics with your examiner to make sure you comply with current rules applicable to your situation.
