British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Bolt Information

British Seagull® Outboard Cylinder Bolt secures the cylinder head to the cylinder and, the cylinder to the crankcase.

There are usually four stainless steel bolt that pass through the cylinder head, and the cylinder gasket, to be tightened on to the cylinder. There are a further two bolts holding the crankcase on to the cylinder on the Forty Series engines, with the cylinder base gasket in between; each bolt will require a British Seagull Cylinder Washer.

Please note that Century engines usually use the separate British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Stud and British Seagull Outboard Crankcase Nut to hold the crankcase in place.

This stainless steel bolt is also used as the fixing bolts for attaching the British Seagull Outboard Century Series Clamp-On Detachable Mounting Bracket 'C' Clamps to the British Seagull Outboard Century Series Clamp-On Detachable Mounting Bracket Frame.

Which British Seagull Outboards is this suitable for?

This part is suitable for all British Seagull Outboard engines except for QB, Model 102, Model 170 and Model 125.
