British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Washer Information
British Seagull® Outboard Cylinder Washer sits on the cylinder bolts between the cylinder head to the cylinder and, the cylinder to the crankcase.
There are usually four stainless steel British Seagull Cylinder Bolts that pass through the cylinder head and the British Seagull Cylinder Head Gasket, each needing to be tightened on to the cylinder. There are a further two British Seagull Cylinder Bolts holding the crankcase on to the cylinder on the Forty Series engines, with the British Seagull Cylinder Base Paper Gasket in between; each bolt will require a cylinder washer.
Please note that Century engines usually use the separate British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Stud and the British Seagull Outboard Crankcase Nut to hold the crankcase in place.
These stainless steel washers are also used on the QB Series engines on the British Seagull Outboard QB Series Cylinder Base Stud and British Seagull Outboard QB Series Cylinder Head Stud; these are then fastened with the British Seagull Outboard QB Series Cylinder Nut.
Which British Seagull Outboards is this suitable for?
This part is suitable for all British Seagull Outboard engines except Model 102, Model 170 and Model 125 engines.
