British Seagull® Outboard Exhaust Flange & Water Pump Housing locates the driveshaft and casing tube, impeller, water delivery pipe, and exhaust tube to the reduction gear housing.
The exhaust flange and water pump housing is specifically designed to ensure the cooling water and exhaust gases are sent around the engine in the correct fashion. The impeller spins as the drive shaft rotates forcing water into the cooling system. The water is directed into the British Seagull Outboard Water Delivery Pipe where the water is sent to the cylinder.
As the engine cycle produces exhaust gases this, along with the water that has passed around the cylinder, is sent back down the British Seagull Outboard Silencer Tube, to the exhaust flange and water pump housing, and directed out of the British Seagull Outboard Reduction Gear Housing.
This part is suitable for Century 100 and Silver Century British Seagull outboard engines including, LLS, W, S AND WS.
