Freeman Propeller Shaft Castle Nuts Information
Freeman Cruiser propeller shaft castle nuts that hold the propeller in place at the end of the propeller shaft to prevent the loss of the propeller.
The castle nut design allows for a locking split pin to be installed and fastened to help prevent the propeller from 'unscrewing'.
Please note: The 1" Propeller Nut is not a castle nut design as the nut usually passes the split pin location hole in the end of the shaft and therefore can be installed behind the nut once it is tight.
