A biodegradable fuel conditioner and stabiliser for regular use to improve engine efficiencies, performance, emissions and fuel economy.
Provided in a dosage bottle for better accuracy pouring, Fuel Set FCC fuel additive is suitable for all fuels (except aviation fuels) including diesel, petrol, 2 stroke, biodiesel and more. This engine fuel treatment removes water from fuel lines and tanks whilst preventing fungal growth: a precursor to diesel bug - so, helping to reduce the chance of getting diesel bug in the fuel system and tanks.
By dissolving varnish, gums and wax deposits from the fuel system, injectors and carburettors, Fuel Set FCC formula cleans up fuel and helps engines run smoother and restore lost fuel consumption economy.
This easy to use concentrated fuel conditioner can also recondition old, degraded fuel and can help to de-carbonise combustion chambers. The conditioner is biodegradable and hydrocarbon free and will burn away harmlessly.
E10 Petrol contains up to 10% renewable ethanol which is designed to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, however, it has a detrimental effect on your petrol when it is stored in your boats petrol tank.
Ethanol blended fuels can start 'phasing' or phase separating, this is when the ethanol in the fuel absorbs too much water, separates from the petrol, and drops to the bottom of the tank as the ethanol and water combination is then heavier than the petrol.
Using Fuel Set with E10 petrol will help to combat water in the fuel and will also help slow down the oxidization of petrol. You can read more about E10 petrol and its effects on WaterMota Petrol Engines on our blog.
The recommended mix ratio for Fuel Set is 4000:1 (10ml treats 40L), it is important to double dose your when using Fuel Set for the first time. Simply calculate the dose size required based on the size of your fuel tank, pour it in and fill up with fuel as normal.
A Freeman 22 or Freeman 23 had a 15 Gallon (approximately 68L) fuel tank when it left the factory, therefore a Freeman 22 or 23 would require approximately 37.5ml on initial use of Fuel Set and then 18ml of Fuel Set on every fill-up. Therefore a 250ml bottle of Fuel Set should last you for approximately 12 doses including the initial dosage.
