Halyard Cleats

A rigging halyard for raising and lowering a flag or yard when setting sail, and is a useful tie-off cleat for various applications on the boat and at home.

By tieing cord, string or rope around the halliard cleat, you can lock the position of a raising and lowering system. This can be useful for flags and Red Ensigns onboard your boat as well as various applications at home, including as a window blind cord fixing for example.
