International One Up Primer Undercoat is a new two-in-one primer and undercoat for use above the waterline with traditional single pack topcoat paints such as International Toplac Plus and International Interdeck.
International One Up is a simple, yet effective primer and undercoat in one tin, making painting easier for DIY customers, without compromising on aesthetic appearance or substrate protection. It is extremely easy to apply with a brush or roller leaving an extra smooth finish.
Thinning of One Up Primer Undercoat is not usually required, however, it can be thinned up to 10% if required using Thinners No.1.
One Up primer and undercoat is suitable for use on most materials, such as fibreglass & GRP, gelcoat and wood.
It is recommended to use at least 2 coats of International One Up before applying the topcoat. For GRP/Gelcoat 2 coats should be enough, for aluminium and steel 3 coats are recommended and for wood, at least 4 coats are recommended.
International One Up is available in white in 375ml tins, 750ml tins and 2.5L tins and in blue/grey in 750ml tins only.
International One Up Primer Undercoat is a brand new primer undercoat, being introduced in October 2021 in order to replace International Pre-Kote and International Yacht Primer, it can be used as both a primer and an undercoat as required.
International are changing their primers and undercoats as some of the chemicals currently used in Pre-Kote and Yacht Primer are being banned for use by DIY customers.
As with International Pre-Kote, International One Up is available in both white and blue/grey colours.
