Exhaust gases are produced during the running of petrol and diesel engines and should be directed to the outside of the boat using a marine-grade exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet. A rubber exhaust hose can deteriorate over time, particularly if left in a wet, damp, or oily bilge environment. The hose may appear OK on the outside, however, the internal walls of the hose can detach, closing the internal bore of the hose, thus preventing the exhaust gases from passing through - it is worth checking and replacing where necessary.
When ordering your boat exhaust hose we aim to cut the full length of your order as one piece up to 10m. We sometimes have 'off-cut lengths' too if you require smaller amounts so please contact us should you require smaller amounts, or different sections.
