The Mini Lift the Dot Canopy Socket Punch is a handy punch tool for punching a Lift The Dot socket hole into canopy material. This tool is ideal for use with one-off and occasional canopy or hood fitting and repairs.
The Mini Lift the Dot Canopy Socket Punch is compatible with the Lift The Dot Canopy Sockets which are designed to fit the Lift The Dot Studs.
The Lift The Dot socket punch is designed to be struck with a hammer to make a central circular hole with 4 additional holes around the outside for the legs of the socket.
When using the socket punch tool, place an old magazine on top of a piece of wood, then place the material on top of the magazine and hit the punch with a hammer. The magazine helps to give a cleaner cut and helps extend the life of the cutting blade.
This punch is specially designed to cut out the holes required to fit these Lift The Dot Sockets.
