The Trudesign White Skin Fittings with Hosetail are through hull skin fittings with a domed front and a hosetail for connection to a flexible hose. The skin fittings are made from a durable glass-reinforced nylon composite. The hosetail is long enough to allow for two hose clips to clamp the hose down as per ISO and ABYC standards.
TruDesign Skin Fittings with hosetails are compatible with all hull types, such as aluminium, steel, wood, composite and glass fibre (GRP). The nylon composite eliminates all corrosion and bonding problems associated with electrolysis giving peace of mind with respect to the safety of your vessel.
These Trudesign skin fittings are for use above the waterline only, they must not be fitted below the waterline. These skin fittings are commonly used for drains & overflows and breathers.
