This Ultraflex B400 control is a high polished 316 stainless steel lever, complete with rubber grips, and bezel that features mechanisms for push/pull for throttle and shift, push-in button for neutral operation, during the engine warm up sequence for example, and built-in brake tension device which can be used with Ultraflex, 33C, BRP, Mercury Gen 1 and Gen 2 cables (with optional adapters).
This boat throttle control is a side mount control unit and can be installed either side, starboard or port, of the helm. The marine throttle control handle also features an easy adjustable brake tension release system that helps hold the throttle steady when positioned, for example, it is designed to prevent vibrations altering the designated speed through throttle creep or slippage. As an additional safety feature this control can be set to run a 'start-in-gear' protection system using the additional safety device installation kit.
Which Ultraflex cables are compatible?
Boat throttle systems using Ultraflex C2, C8 and MACHZero should not require an additional connection kit.
Boat throttle systems using Ultraflex C5, C14, C16, C36, MACH5, MACH14 or MACH36 will require an additional connection kit, please contact us for the relevant connection kit
Which other cables are compatible?
This throttle control can also be used with 33C cables. It can also be used with BRP, Mercury Gen 1 and Gen 2 cables with additional connection kits.
