WaterMota Temperature Sender Core Plug

The WaterMota Temperature Sender Core Plug is a core plug to allow the fitment of a water temperature sender into the rear of the engine head on a WaterMota Pre-Crossflow or Crossflow boat engine.

Fitting the temperature sender in the rear of the head of the engine provides a better, more accurate temperature reading as the water will be at a more constant temperature after the thermostat while it travels around the engine block.

Fitting The WaterMota Temperature Sender Core Plug

The WaterMota Temperature Sender Core Plug replaces the rear core plug in the head of the engine, simply remove the original cor plug and insert the temperature sender core plug. It will be a tight fit and will require fitting.

The large temperature sender simply screws into the female thread of the temperature sender core plug. In some instances, the temperature sender will be too long when screwed in and will hit the inside of the engine, in this case, you must fit the WaterMota temperature sender spacer.

If you have, or wish to use the small temperature sender you will require the WaterMota small temperature sender adapter.

Which WaterMota engine is this suitable for?

The WaterMota temperature sender core plug is suitable for the majority of WaterMota petrol engines including the WaterMota Sea Wolf Mk1 & Mk2 and the WaterMota Sea Tiger Mk1 & Mk2.
