Whale Universal Strum Box Information
The Whale universal bilge strainer, or Whale Strum Box, is useful to help protect your bilge pump from potential damage that maybe caused by debris entering the pump. This bilge strainer is designed to be installed on the bilge floor with the option of four different outlet positions.
By rotating the outlet, which is suitable for 3/4" (19mm) pipe, it is possible to choose between four positions including straight out side ways, straigh up, angled left, or angled right.
The strainer has a non-return valve in the connection pipe and a removable gauze that can be easily popped off for inspection and cleaning.
