The Rule LP900D has been certified ISO 8849 Marine Electric Bilge Pumps and ISO 8846 Marine Ignition Protection.
The Rule LoPro LP900S bilge pump is a low profile, ignition protected, fully automatic, 12 volt boat bilge pump with full rotation discharge non-return valves for up to 900 gallons per hour flow that can be easily maintained and cleaned.
Designed to be able to be placed into the tightest areas of your boats bilge, this low profile automatic bilge pump can be installed in several ways; lying flat, on its side on even upright. Constructed as three elements, the blue section, the white section and the red section this marine bilge pump offers universal applications.
With the full 360 degree rotation of each section there is no end to the possibilities of mounting this bilge pump. The white section, which features the discharge outlet thread, can be spun around so that the discharge angle suits your bilge design, allowing you to place the bilge pump in your preferred location whilst sending the outlet hose off in a completely different direction should you wish. Four outlet fittings are included with the pump, these can be attached to the pump thread to suit your chosen hose diameter (3/4", 1" & 1 1/8").
The blue section is the bilge pump gauze, this can also be fully rotated to suit the fitting installation. The gauze filter can also be removed for cleaning purposes and features a small ball bearing air valve on the top to allow the pump to breath and work more efficiently.
The red section is the bilge pump 12 volt motor and water level sensor. With this marine bilge pump you are able to select between a water level sensor or the timed function. The sensor technology detects the water level and will automatically switch the pump on when the level is reached. There are two level settings, high and low, which can be selected by flipping the red section over and clipping back into place. The sensor is also clever enough to detect if it has be covered in oil so that it will not continue pumping unless it is pumping water out.
With the timed function, the pump will automatically 'test' if it is required by briefly turning on the pump every 2.5 seconds and if it detects water then it will begin to pump the water out. This can be turned on/off by sliding the white switch back and forth. The motor section can also be removed from the other sections to aid with the cleaning and maintenance. Below the motor there are two fixing holes on flat brackets for installation too.
The Rule LoPro 900D has also been certified with ISO 8849 Marine Electric Bilge Pumps and ISO 8846 Marine Ignition Protection, a must for marine installations.
With the ability to pump up to 900 gallons per hour (3407 LPH) with a maximum head of 3.4m the pump is designed to remove water from your boats bilge and can be used with either an on/off switch or fitted with an automatic bilge switch (sold separately).
