British Seagull® Outboard Crankcase fastens to the cylinder housing the British Seagull Outboard Crankshafts that rotates during the reciprocating motion created by the piston and the connecting rod.
The dome like shape of the crankcase provides enough room for the connecting rod to rotate as the crankshaft goes around. The British Seagull Outboard Crankshafts sits in two bearings, one located at the top and one located at the bottom, this ensures at he smooth operation and rotation of the crankshaft.
The British Seagull Outboard Crankshaft also as the lug for the British Seagull Outboard Tiller Arm Stud that the British Seagull Outboard Tiller Arm. The British Seagull Outboard Drive Shaft Casing Tube fixes to the bottom of the crankcase, housing the British Seagull Outboard Drive Shaft, transferring the power to the gearbox.
