British Seagull Outboard Fuel Tank

The replacement British Seagull® Outboard Fuel Tank is a 6 pint (3.4L) capacity plastic fuel tank complete with an aluminium carry handle and is compatible with the British Seagull Outboard Fuel Filler Cap and the British Seagull Outboard Fuel Tap.

Original British Seagull Outboard Fuel Tanks were generally metal tanks, as a natural progression, these were superseded by the plastic tank.

The British Seagull plastic fuel tank has a 6 Pint (3.4L) capacity and features an aluminium carry handle. As with the original tanks, the standard British Seagull fuel filler cap can be used with the threaded inlet and the standard British Seagull metal fuel tap can be inserted into the threaded fuel outlet on the bottom of the tank - there are two locations for the fuel tap to accommodate engines with carburettors on either side (a blanking plug and washer is provided for the outlet not in use).

The Seagull outboard fuel tank features the traditional British Seagull name and 'Man' logo on the top of the tank, raised up, out from the plastic tank surround. Stainless steel fixings and anti-vibration pads and washers provide the tank with support and easy installation on to the flanges of the square British Seagull Outboard Cylinder Head (QB engines feature separate flanges) on most existing British Seagull Outboard Engines.
