British Seagull Outboard Gear Operating Rods

The British Seagull® Outboard Gear Operating Rod connects the gear operating lever to the clutch fork engaging or disengaging when gear or neutral is elected.

These stainless steel British Seagull clutch connecting rods screw into the clutch fork at the bottom of the engine and run up the length of the drive shaft tube and silencer tube to the gear operating lever where it is held in place on the British Seagull Outboard Tiller Stud. There are different length gear connecting rods per engine group for standard shaft and long shaft engines.

• C1397 - This 22 1/2" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for Forty Plus and Silver Century clutch drive outboards including FPC, GFPC, EFPC, SEFPC, TSEFPC, WSC & ESC engines.
• C1398 - This 28 1/2" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for Forty Plus and Silver Century clutch drive outboards including FPC, GFPC, EFPC, SEFPC, TSEFPC, WSC & ESC engines.
• CPC/1397 - This 25" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for Century Plus and Silver Century Plus clutch drive outboards including CPC, WPC, SPC, WSPC and ESPC engines.
• CPC/1398 -This 31" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for Century Plus and Silver Century Plus clutch drive outboards including CPC, WPC, SPC, WSPC and ESPC engines.
• CU1397 - This 22 1/2" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for QB Series Curlew Short Shaft engines only.
• CU1398 - This 28 1/2" British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for QB Series Curlew Long Shaft engines only.
• KC1397 - This British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for QB Series KC engines only.
• KC1398 - This British Seagull Operating Rod is suitable for QB Series KC engines only.
