British Seagull® Outboard QB Series & Model 170/125 Stator Plate Assembly converts the rotational magnetic field to electrical current to produce a spark at the spark plug for starting.
British Seagull® Outboard QB Series & Model 170/125 Stator Plate Assembly converts the rotational magnetic field of the flywheel to electrical current to produce a spark at the British Seagull Outboard Spark Plugs for starting via the high tension lead wire that is pre-installed in the stator plate and can be fitted to the British Seagull Outboard Spark Plug Cover.
The Wipac Breakerless Capactior Discharge Ignition System is featured on all QB Series British Seagull engines housed in the British Seagull Outboard QB Series Crankcase. It also fixes to the ignition base plate on the Model 170/125 engines.
The British Seagull Wipac Stator Plate also come with the pre-installed cut out wire that connects to the British Seagull Outboard QB Series Stop Switch.
This British Seagull Outboard part is suitable for QB Series and Model 170/125 engines only.
