Cotton Twill Dust Sheet

A large washable & re-usable cotton twill dust sheet to protect floors, upholstery, furniture, cupboards, cabinets, and more during painting, sanding, project works, or winter storage to prevent mud transferring from outside and spoiling surfaces.

When would I use a dust sheet on board a boat?

Dust sheets are very useful on board boats, and we use them regularly at the boatyard as:

• A simple covering for floors when boats are in for work, such as engine services or major projects.
• Covering upholstery when it cannot be removed during work or winter storage.
• A floor covering for the winter engine layup, particularly when the weather is bad and we do not want to transfer mud or water into the boat.
• A covering to collect dust when sanding, so we can 'lift out' any excess dust prior to cleaning.
• Covering soft furnishings during the season to stop spider poo staining the upholstery.
• Protecting vulnerable surfaces from sunlight so that the UV does not discolour areas.
• A protective floor covering on new, or for-sale boats when a high volume of people may enter to look inside.
