The Marinco Afi 1.5 waterproof 12-volt wiper motor unit has a fully sealed powder-coated aluminium housing, adjustable self-park, twin speed motor, and adjustable sweep designed to power a 22" windscreen wiper arm and blade.
This boat wiper motor has three pre-stripped wires for wiring in and features RF shielded circuitry. The angle of sweep is preset to 80° but this can be adjusted to 45°, 60°, or 110° and the self-park feature can be set to either left or right-sided (pre-set to the left).
The wiper motor has 5/8" (16mm) brass and stainless steel shaft with a solid brass knurled drive spindle (14mm) and the self-park has a 'coast-to-park' feature.
The Marinco 1.5 wiper motor is a slightly smaller less powerful motor than the Marinco 2.5 wiper motor and is designed to power up to a 22" wiper blade. Although the casings look the same, the Marinco 1.5 wiper motor has a smaller shorter and shallower body, the securing hole centres to the shaft are approximately the same however the 2.5 motor will accept a larger fixing hole.
