3M Perfect-It Boat Wax is a high quality boat wax that leaves your boats gelcoat with a protected high gloss shine after cleaning. The boat wax is made from a mix of pure Brazillian carnauba wax, silicones, polymers and resins to really bring out the shine of your newly cleaned gelcoat! Boat wax leaves a protective finish on the gelcoat to help prevent damage from the weather and prolong your hard work.
3M Perfect-It Boat Wax is suitable for use on gelcoat, paint fibreglass and metal.
If you have rough, oxidised gelcoat then you will need to prepare the surface before applying wax using either 3M Perfect-It Gelcoat Light Cutting Polish & Wax or for heavily oxidised gelcoat use 3M Perfect-It Gelcoat Medium Cutting Compound & Wax or even 3M Perfect-It Gelcoat Heavy Cutting Compound.
Make sure your gelcoat is clean and you have finished compounding or polishing your boat before applying 3M Boat Wax. It is recommended to wash your boat before applying 3M Boat Wax with 3M Perfect-It Boat Wash if it has been left outside after cleaning.
3M Boat Wax can be applied by hand using a cloth or by machine. Work the boat wax into the surface until you have your desired shine, then wipe down with a microfibre cloth.
