Stainless Steel quick release split jaw canopy bar clamps that provides pivoting support for additional canopy bars when fitting to a non-removable rail or bar.
These stainless steel quick-release split jaw canopy (hood) bar clamps are designed to be fixed to non-removable rails or bars on board to support an additional canopy bar pivoting from the canopy bar clamp.
The opening jaw of this hood fitting allows you to place a canopy pivoting point onto a fixed handrail, pushpit rail or support bar without removing the fixed rail. The jaw is held firmly together with a locating screw thread that can be loosened with an Allen key and spread apart to 135mm. Once the split jaw clamp is in position around the desired bar simply close and tighten the Allen key locating screw. When tight the clamp allows you to pivot a canopy bar from the pivoting hole that features a quick-release pin so bars can be removed more easily if necessary.
This is a very robust stainless steel (316) boat canopy clamp and is ideal if supporting rails cannot be removed or disassembled.
